commentNilesh Katkade from Verveba Inc hired me (independent consultant) to work as a consultant at a client site. I worked at the client site for more than 18 months. Below are my experiences while I worked for him:
1. After joining the project at client side, neither Nilesh Katkade nor anyone from Verveba Inc cared to enquire how everything's going, never in those 18 months.
2. There were constant delays in payments, the delays stretched to 6 months or more. He will only pay you only if call/email him multiple times or threaten him that you are going to file a complaint at client site against Verveba Inc. He used to give some kind of excuses like he was in Africa and other bullsh** stories.
3. He withheld my last month's pay and he could not be reached either by phone or email and it has been more than 6 months. He just didn't respond to any my emails or phone calls.
4. If I have to sum it up how it was working with him, "it was a hell".
Advice to others: It is better to be unemployed rather than work with him. Nilesh Katkade is one stinking greedy cockroach who has no ethics, no respect and no compassion. For him, you are nothing but a money making machine and on top of it treats you like shi*. He can throw you under the bus just to make a few dollars. DO NOT WORK WITH VERVEBA INC OR NILESH KATKADE.

Nilesh Katkade is a total fraud. I worked with him and his company Verveba for more than an year. He was always late on payments, sometimes by over 6 months. Added to that misery, he is completely unreachable for months together. He just doesn't care to respond to any of the calls or emails. Unprofessional is too light a word to describe him, he was just an absolute nightmare to work with. He also works in association with Ujwala Nagare who belongs to the same breed.
They caused me so much anxiety and pain by constantly delaying payments by more than 6 months. They did not release my last month's pay as well. So many phone calls, emails - just no response.
Don't be a fool and make the same mistake I did. Stay away from Nilesh Katkade, Verveba and Ujwala Nagare. I wish the best in hell for Nilesh and Verveba.

commentDO NOT WORK FOR VERVEBA!!! Rommel Maneja is a scam artist. He will have you go do the work but when it's time to collect your payment for the work you have done he will answer your calls or emails. He works closely with a company called Vom Solutions that is ran by Joseph Ortillo. They both will lie to you to get you to do the work but when it's time to get paid, you WILL have to hunt them down to get your money!

commentI'm currently a verveba employee. You can look at my situation and decide by yourself if you want to work with verveba (nilesh): Verveba is a small company with about 20 developers. Nilesh offered my an annual salary (i.e. when I am on bench, I still have the salary. That's what he said.). When I was on bench and the job market was very low, Nilesh asked me to leave the company or he would revoke my H1. If I wanted to be with his company, I wouldn't get any salary when on bench (no salary means no pay stub and that means no way to go to another company). I had to pay him > $900/month so that he run some payroll thing and I can get my paystub (although I have no salary).
He told me that he applied my PERM online and refused to give out any proof that he did that. A year later, he said that because of blah blah blah he had to revoke/withdraw my PERM application. He also asked the lawyer (who filed my PERM) not to talk to me directly without his permission.
