commentNever deal with this consulting company, ever. I had a worst experience even I did not show any interest, they kept calling hour after hour, day and night and texting and emailing me.
Gerald Devotta calling me at 10pm and Syed Abu Thahir - NEWT GLOBAL [mailto:tsyed@newtglobal.com] calling 5-10 times a day and emailing, texting to ask me to respond.
Is this how Newt Global works, harassing the prospective employees?
They should be reported to FCC and police for their business practices.

commentI come to know know about Newt through my friend and he referred me. My company was not responding to my request to send me to US and so I wanted to come here through a consultant. I thought of coming through some consultancy and just ditch them once I am here. Newt offered me 50K and once the visa was approved they told me that 10k out of that salary number is bonus and that will be given once I complete an year with them. I thought its fine as I planned to leave. I signed all the documents they asked for as those employment related documents are INVALID in US. Though they might be able to do something legally, they wont because of the scrutiny they might be facing with the legal action (I misused this). Once I am in US they provided a nice shared guest house. They helped me to settle down. They asked me to be in office only during my search for projects (They file visa showing xxx customer). Once you are in US you should search a project on your own. I found some project on my own in CA and after working with the client for few pay cycles, I ditched them. Moved to a full time job. They sent a legal notice while sending my last pay check. I ignored it.
Its our mistake most of the time to chose them.
Their mistake is their greed in expecting a person to stay with them for that miniscule salary.
[once I was in US, I wanted to work for them for longer time, but when I asked them to increase my pay Satish baba gave some gnan. He said I will be getting 2200 in had after tax and in that for accommodation 500, for food 300 and other expenses 200 and I would still be left with 1200 which is hell lot of money :D ]

commentHi, there is so much written by old employees in this section. please take a moment to understand what some one writes as its not for publicity and our aim is to help others from falling trap. I joined from India and before i went for VIsa interview, they gave a Offer letter which stated 60K USD, with relocation allowance and 10K bonus. After visa interview, Neeraja asked to sign a new offer letter, which said, same 60K but that 10K bonus will be from your own salary. So technically you are eligilble for 50K. Thats a big scam they do with policy and also the flight reimbursement,client relocation all coming into the same bucket. Imagine for all projects, the clients provide relocation charge which newtglobal pockets it and they give to you from your mentioned salary. travel allowance should be an additional component. Thats a very neat plan by management of newtglobal. Thanks to idea of Rajiv chum (should read as scu m). Next coming to marketing, they have the worst marketing folks who has no skills to find employment for most of good resources too. MAKE A NOTE, its only self marketing works with them.
If you are in Irving, then you will asked to work over weekend at newtglobal office doing menial jobs.
SALARY POLICY : This is a place where they play great tricks. Ritu jain is one who speaks sweet and F U C K S you with smile in your payslip. No salary for 45 days first and then you get the first paycheck. So your one month salary is gone. also if you resign, your last month salary is gone. Wat a way this company works. Neeta goel and Satish Goel are the biggest saddist on this planned who thinks as American president instead of a scam company president. They thinks they have a vision for the world and it is to lead a life on others hard earned money. They wont pay for the hard workers and lead a royal life with others money. Guys please don't join this company and screw your life. There are a lot of good consulting which we can work for.

commentI am currently in US on L1A visa and have been with Newt Global since Feb 2010. I thank Newt Global’s Sr. Management for all the support and guidance they have provided in my relocation to US. Relocating when you have tons of IT opportunities in city like Delhi/Gurgaon, well settled life for 15 years back in India with wife working and son studying in top school was a very difficult decision and would not have been possible without Newt Global Sr. Management support, guidance, deep understanding about US immigration and excellent clientele
My H1B was filed in April 2010 and got approved in Oct 2010. I was provided with all the documents that I needed to go for stamping. We are all aware that in year 2011 USCIS has acted most tough when it came to stamping. I got two 221g to which Newt Global with excellent Attorney responded in most detailed fashion. When USCIS took time to give a definitive response to the second 221g, Newt Global went ahead to file my L1A visa under individual category without waiting for the outcome of the H1B and got it approved. I was taken through 3 rounds of mock up interview with Sr. Management, HR head and then with Attorney to be prepared to answer any question regarding company and my function in US during my interview with US consulate. I got it finally stamped at Chennai US consulate. I have to laud the whole management team for their excellent handling and in-depth understanding of immigration and conviction in themselves.
My relocation to US in general, finding accommodation and admission of my son to school; all have been very smooth.
Newt Global HR and finance is one of the most organized and efficient department and I have never faced any issues ever be it back in India or here in US. I take all the pride in being associated and look forward to a long and great future.

commentIam working with Newt Global for last 3 years and i found it extremly good work place. It did worked in top MNC from India they did cheated me by giving false hopes of GC. Thats when i decided to changed over. I would like to share my experience to all the folks who looking forward to join Newt Global.
Back in year 2009 when i was going to join Newt Global one of my friend told me not to join and i asked him why, to that he relied that they are not good. I told my friend that previously i worked for the leading MNC even they were not good and they cheated me. After all this later i went ahead and joined NewtGlobal and till today everything is going well. Last Year i visited India and had to do my visa stamping, during visa interview i did get admin process query for stamping, but Newt Global were very supportive and they provided all the necessary help, they provided all the documentations to VFS very promptly and i was able to get positive response from VFS within three months and today iam back in U.S.A. and working on their onsite project. In last three years i did finished my project several times and everytime i was another project within less than a week, and was always paid for time when i was looking for another project. Also when i was in India and waiting for my visa stamping i was given oppurtunity to work in their Chennai development center with better salary than other software companies. They having fabulous offshore development center with lot of new projects and i reallly enjoyed working with them also in India. Month back my same friends who was once telling me not to join Newt Global asked me if i can talk for him to join Newt Global. I always tell my friends that you should never listen to rumors. In strongly belive in this phrase: How you sow is how you reap.

commentI have worked for several top tier US and Indian IT consulting firms before I joined Newt Global. Overall, I would rate my experience at Newt to be at least as good if not better.
Newt Global does have a high quality client base and is a known/respected among their top clients. We routinely meet other Newt Global consultants engaged in different projects at our client site.
The compensation is comparable or better than the industry benchmarks (Infy, CTS, Wipro, TCS etc). From the immigration (H1, GC) perspective, the company has a excellent track record of getting approvals and stamping. I got my H1 without any hassles - no RFEs or any other concerns. I have referred other H1 candidates to Newt Global as well.
Newt has also invested in product development which brings us additional opportunity and visibility. Last year I attended iPhone and Android development training hosted by Newt and provided for free to all the consultants.
The leadership is very accessible and does go out of the way to accommodate personal requests (as long as they do not negatively impact the business). The management does critically reflect and take advice on the process and policies and routinely rolls out major/minor improvements.
One area which the company can improve is the benefits package (vacation, medical insurance). Also, the leadership is extremely driven which is exciting most of the times. The flip side is that everyone is constantly running at top speed and the relentless pace at the headquarters can be exhausting.

They normally get the money file H1B> The initial offer letter will change after u get ur visa stamped and about to travel. Management change the stand about policy every day.They try to rob as much as they can as they are the worst consultants ever seen in my life. They will talk as if they are doing you a big favor of H1B. They dont understand that its a mutual growth.We together will grow is a key factor which they miss...

commentI worked here for a long time and with so much pain digesting all there misdeed. Its a worst place to work as there are many good consultants who respect resources and pay well according to industry standard. They always try to mug and smuggle wat ever they can from you. Even if there a penny left, they will Get it from you. The best cheating part is they hold you 1 month salary always and will not pay you. If i go to Labor court, They will be forced to pay hefty fine as It is illegal as you need to pay your employer. Thier bench concept is the best scam in the world and also their concept of relocation allowance is tricky. They give a illusion as if they are paying extra for relocation. But its not. Its from your own salary they pay your relocation expense. Normally all clients accept for relocation allowance and neeta and satish get that and they take home with out returning the benefit you employers.. I should'nt curse them? but no other go..Will they and thier family will have peaceful life >? For sure they will die like dogs on street...

If they value employees they can grow up instead of cheating and extracting money from them . There are many consultancy which has grown up well with little margin for company and having many associates. Don't try to suck the whole blood out of employee. Make profit but make sure employee also get a part of it .

commentTheir marketing executives like Dhirendra Khamboj or people like Mr and Ms Goel may speak sweet words to make you join. After joining they will behave like animals and devils harassing you like any thing. Dont fall trap to their sweet words . They dont give salary if you are in bench. As per US law there is no concept of bench. Employer has to pay regular salary if you are in bench or not in bench. That too you have to find your own prject through dice,corp corp etc. . This is a scam company . This company may be sueued any time. In many clauses they are not adhering to the US labour law. There are many other genuine consulting companies, so dont join here and look for some other company.

commentThe management of company feels that they are bringing lifetime slaves from India if someone files H1b with them. They will made you sign the clauses that is obviously questionable from the legal perspective. You will have terrible time entering first day in the office. You will feel that you are talking to some beggars who feel that employees with engineering degrees has zero intelligence and become slave to them as they have sponsored the visa. Worker should remain under obligation. I haven't deals with such cheap folks who feel that their employee should live on minimum and give their life for profit of the company. They satisfy the minimum constraints of legal requirement from laws. Otherwise they will harass you with all the angles possible to exploit you. They don't feel that their dear ones should work in such a pathetic organization as worker.

commentI worked at that place and it was a horrible experience. They use various loop holes in the system to not to pay you. You will not get any salary untill you are on a project and even though you are on a project they hold your salary untill first 45 days. In any case they hold your 15 days salary. They will give you tons of work in their office and not allow you to prepare for interviews. Even ask you to work on weekends without any pay.
They ask you to sign a employment contract stating that it's just formality. Once you sign that it's a big mistake. If you leave the company before specified duration in contract they will send you harrasing notices from the attorneys to threaten you and try to recover amount mentioned from the contract.
All in all it's a worst place to work. Don't join there at all.

commentI have attended H1 visa interview at chennai consulate. I have been 221g’ed for all the petitioner documents including the Work itinerary for the petioned period.
But Newt Global has NOT provided client letter, Work itinerary.
I have submitted documents through VFS dropbox.
I am not sure whether I will get the visa stamp without proper documents.

They put people in the guest house with no amenities until the person gets a job without any transportation. They treat employees like slaves. Dont try to be one. Sweet talks don't feed your family.

commentYes, I have just recently worked with Newt Global. The day I joined, I came to know that I had done a terrible mistake. I wont say its an utterly fraud company, but its not worth trying at all. They may promise you something and you may end up in something else. Never even think about getting your money back if you have applied for H1B. Please dont think of joining this company. Its a humble request.
