The way Ansah deals with her clients is deplorable and pathetic. I DETEST the way she treated me.She is utterly incompetent. The fact that these people could keep their jobs is incomprehensible. She has no sense of urgency and her rude behaviour is just the icing on the cake.

I was asked to post a review by one of my colleagues. I came to Howard in 2003 July on H1. While the processing of H1 was very slow, it was approved smoothly. I decided to build my career at Howard and approcahed Dr. Grace Ansah in Summer 2004. She gave a real tough time for me and at one stage I contemplated about quitting Howard. After repeated deliberations and requests for the next 8 months, I was told to wait for 6 more months to sponsor green card. Finally it was done and I got it in 2007. It was not a pleasant experience with Dr. Ansah in particular at Howard.

I had a near similar experience as indicated above. Very difficult to deal with and definitely not working for welfare of the university. I was forced to stay and filed for perm on my own. My H-1B processing was ok but took a lot of time to file. Dr. Ansah was not polite at all and I am not sure why Howard keeps these people in higher positions.

Dr. Grace Ansah is the director and is responsible for H1-B and Green Card applications. During my course of interaction with her several times, I found her very difficult to deal with and rude. She imposes a 2-3 year rule on employees at her will for sponsoring the green card petition though the rule is not approved by the university. Apart from this I found the office to be extremely inefficient at handling H-1's and is very slow for the salary they are paid. Her office is the one I hated to deal with at my stay at Howard and planning to leave the place (waiting for my H-1B transfer at another university).
