GCOM is the best company to work as an employee or consultant.
I was working with GCom more than two years as consultant. I was getting good work & support to accomplish client targets. There is a strong technical team in GCom to support any employee or consultants at critical milestones. Yes,sometimes need to be work more than 8Hrs to reach our promises. GCom never cares how much you are working..they support us to reach quality work at time.

one of the worst places to work for in house projects. Manager is running dictatorship with no respect or courtesy towards employees. There is no satisfaction with work, no matter how much effort you put.

Worked with them for over 2 years and had good exp with them. Never an issue with payment. Everything is clear and open at this firm. The people whom I worked with are helpful and encourage you to grow. Was always given an opportunity to enhance technically. They place you from one to another if the original one completed. A fast paced environment though.

Here are facts that can be verified very easily.

1. GCOM is the fastest growing IT company in the Capital Region 3 years in a row (2010, 2011, 2012).

2. Yes, our employee work hard but no one is expected to work more than 8 hours. We expect highly paid consultants to stick to deadlines for most part; our customer expect that.

3. GCOM does not tolerate employees/consultants with fake experience. If you have embellished your resume please do not bother to join us as we will find out in few days and you will be out of GCOM in no time.

4. GCOM has the highest retention rate in the IT consulting industry. 95% percent of people who have joined GCOM (employees or consultants) are still with us (we will be 7 year old company in Oct 2012 so this is not a short term statistic)and they recommend their friends to join GCOM

5. One of the few companies in the area where our employees are paid full salary even when they are on the bench.

They have rule hire and fire.
