commentI completed my Masters, further looking for my career growth, i got to know the Cogent Data Solutions LLC was one of the good organisation for training and placement. i joined with Cogent Data Solutions for training and got-up with long term project, The best thing about Cogent Data Solutions is they give excellent training and support for the career, Training environment is great. Employees are very sportive and Positive management.
Cogent Data Solutions is the best organisation for Immigration. They are the most knowledgeable, trust worthy, sincere and honest. They take the ownership and deal consultant cases with full responsibility.

commentI joined Cogent Data Solutions right after completion of my masters, then in house training was very contentful where I enhanced my skills and learned about the real time project expectations.
They have a dedicated marketing team, who started marketinng my profile right after a couple of weeks when I joined for training part and landed me in a 1 year contract job after a month of training with one of their direct client with a decent payrate.
And helped me in the H1b sponsoring.
I would like to recomend this firm for the training and helping in getting their entry level job opportunities.

commentCogent Data Solutions is the “BEST” company I have seen in the US corporate world. I’ve been associated with this company from a while, with my experience and skills Cogent Data Solutions is a very good Staffing company. They pay me very good amount of salary with good amount of bonus and never delayed in payments. They treat me and every employee like family. They have a very good and well knowledgeable immigration team as well as sales team. HR & other administration team are very responsible and helps with insurance & all other important stuff. I highly recommend all the IT contractors, graduates with less experience or freshers, should join this company for your bright future. Thank you Cogent to make my dream come true.

commentI went to this company in late 2014 after graduating college. Got pulled into offer of training and placement. Anyways after a few weeks of "training" (by the owner - lets call him samosa) which means just a few introductory lessons on a technology.
He basically inflated the resumes and made us do the marketing ourselves. Because phone hires were common those days he placed me in a job where the technology was totally different from what he showed me. Result was i was sent back withing two weeks (many people sitting there like me who were hired and then fired and sent back due to lack of xperience lol)
Anyways he placed me again (phone hire - nobody does that now) in a company where some of his other clowns were working so bit easier to survive there. After few months i was offered full time position and he wouldn't let me go. I talked to client manager and told him about my resume , he accepted so i don't care about samosa.
Samosa then basically put pressure on me to come back. Because i was on OPT that time and showed i was working with him so he called my college and badmouthed me. He even went as far to say he will deal with me legally. Ofcourse his own operation is a joke by this time i was fed up and i was ready for anything.
Anyways if you are reading this Samosa, come take action against me. I have a green card now i am not your slave like your h1b people are. Samosa modus operandi is putting pressure on desperate people with visa issue and make them a slave. Oh by the way Samosa we used to play cricket inside your office full speed when you were gone and watched cricket world cup 2015 on the big tv you had in the meeting room LoL.

commentI have been working with this organization for more than 8 years. I am into my 2nd H-1B extension and they always paid me on time. I never had any issues with payroll or immigration support. They have an excellent in-house immigration team who are available to answer my questions. I have got my I-140 approved through them and waiting to file for I-485.

commentI completely agree with evil hunter review , please stay away form this company, all the positive reviews came from All the sites are posted by Sam and Anitha who are owners of the company and they are making up all the positive reviews as if they are employees of the company.
These people are money minded. Please keep away from this company I am sure you can expect a positive review immediately by tomorrow if they are not busy.
Hope USICS track these guys and find a solutions and free up the consultants who are working as bonded labour keeping their H1B documents and bank details with them and the employees has to beg them for their money and documents .

commentI am working with CDS past 3.5 years and my experience with Cogent data solutions has been really good. They are very professional , have very good marketing team and transparent in their dealings. They pay ON TIME with no delays at all. I joined CDS after completing my Masters, worked on both OPTs, got my H1B approved and stamped with NO issues at all. Trust me this a very good consultancy to start your career. The best thing about CDS is they provide excellent real time training and support which i think no other consultancy firm will ever provide...
I would recommend this company to everyone who is looking for a consulting firm and want to grow in their career.Trust me you will be in safe hands.

commentCDS is yet another of those desi body shops. In their website it claims "founded by women". It is nothing but the traditional desi setup with company being on wife's name and desi husband doing all the gimmicks.
Cogent Data Solutions LLC is one of the worst Consulting companies around.
This company doesn't have any contacts and doesn't do any Marketing.
They lure fresh M.S graduates by telling that they have good training, great contacts and immediate job placements. But all this is bull shit.
They pay pea nuts and the payment is also delayed by months.
The main thing is that you wouldn't be given your H1 documents and so you cannot tranfer to a different company that easily.
Please think twice before joining this company and completely avoid joining this company.
You would later find that you have no way out.
I sincerely pray that no one gets trapped in this bogus company.
Please beware of this company.

All those top rated, nice and fancy comments are written by him. If you dont trust me, just call him and see. He speaks the same way he writes his comments. He is a nice story teller. This guy feels he outsmarts everybody. Joining this company is a suicidal attempt. As a fellow indian I can only say ; please do not join this company even if your close friend or relative refers you to or else you will make your life a disaster. -

commentI have been an employee for Cogent from last 3 years and I am really happy to say this, Cogent Data Solutions is a really good, reliable and genuine Company. Here are the facts to backup my above words
-They will take care of your Visa and immigration problems and they helped me in every stage of H1B process and also during my GC process.
-You get the pay as agreed up on and payment of the salary will be Very Prompt.
-Training here is excellent and they have an exceptional solid marketing team which indeed helped me in getting my job much faster than I expected.
-Since Cogent has several tie-ups with many major vendors and clients, in last 3 years I was never out of a project which is a really good thing right.

commentThe Immigration department at Cogent Data Solutions LLC was always very helpful in getting my H-1B extension filed, especially in these times when you hear of tough stance by the US immigration. They have assisted me in getting the letters from the client managers which helped me in getting the 3-year approval from USCIS with in a week. This 3 year extension was very important to me, as I was so close to completing my 6 year quota. I have also filed my labor and I-140, as they could able to get my I-140 approved in 3 days and Labor in 3 months. Immigration department has lot of in-depth knowledge about the immigration law and can get things done in the right way. I have a piece of mind working at the client location as they can take care of all my immigration related matters.
I recommended my friends to Cogent and they transfered h-1b successfully and also inprocess to file for their GC labor.
Kudos to Cogent Data Solutions Immigration Team.

commentI came from India on a H1B and I am working with this company, the management is really professional and work closely with their employees. My personal feeling about this organization is, they really care for their employees and work hard for results. They are basically result-oriented and work hard for getting their employees into good projects where we get a chance to explore in multiple domains. I have been working on one of their ERP projects for almost two years and had no issues, when it comes to payment they are really prompt you get your paycheck on 15th of every month. When I was in India, I never knew anything about them I just applied for a job with them through one of the job portals and after successful telephonic screenings, I was extended an offer to work on their project. I was really impressed with the way they explained about what they do and how they work. I did apply to many firms but my final search ended here. They have sponsored my H1B and really coached me well before my visa interview. I sincerely recommend them as they stand on what they promise.

commentI was working with Cogent Data Solutions LLC for almost more than year. I was told initially during the HR Conversation that I need to give a one year commitment and they have offered me a decent salary with health insurance benefits and sponsored my H-1B. I can definitely say that "I got one of best trainings and mentoring during my early days in this company which laid a strong foundation for the rest of my career". During the initial training period they are really serious and expect you to read and cultivate the habit of research which enables you to finish all the assignments on time. They have maintained a very positive working relationship with me and couple of my other friends whom I referred to them after my success with this company.
I got my stamping recently from my home country and got the best assistance from them. They did coach me well for my visa interview providing all the details I need. I moved to various client locations as a part of my job with them and they took labor certification for all those respective locations and also ran the payroll as per my current work location. They are very ethical and professional in their work and they make all the payments on time and will run the payroll as per the standards.
Like most of the companies they have an employment agreement before we start at the client location and it states that you are free to go after the committed period as long as you don't take an employment directly (or) indirectly for a period of at least one year after you complete your assignment with their clients who were introduced to you during this process. I believe this is a Non-Compete industry norm these days with all the companies, I took the original employment agreement document to the visa interview which I received as a part of H-1B packet from Cogent. You can move away from Cogent without having any issues by providing at least two weeks of notice.
My Overall Opinion: Best place to grow in your career if you are a fresh graduate or even if you are an experienced person who is willing to expand your horizons. I am happy with Cogent as I am getting paid on-time and having back to back projects without any bench period. I am writing this to provide my realistic experience about Cogent Data Solutions LLC.
