commentI just finished my contract with them and I would say, they are the best, very professional.I was petitioned thru EB2, able to bring my family.Preparation for the NPTE was rigorous, very thorough and they assess and give pointers on what you need to work on more. Once you pass the exam, their transition is really good,other agencies I've heard don't give the kind of transition that Avant does. Once you finish transition,a staff will accompany you to your assignment, help you buy furniture,show you where library,show you around,meet other therapist from avant etc..The best of all is at 18 months, your facility has the option to directly hire you, which they have done on my case. Imagine finishing your contract in just 18 months!!

commentAvant Health care is a wonderful organization with a determination to recruit foreign nurse graduates. I had a great experience with Avant in 2006 and the organization was able to facilitate my transition to the United States. They delivered as scheduled and everything worked out perfectly well. There were no hidden areas, and staff ere absolutely fantastic. I am grateful to Avant for helping me in the quest to work in the USA.
In a nutshell, Avant is reliable, dependable, and helpful.

commentMy American dream came true because of Avant. I got my GC in 5 mos. they did not promise me GC but when our batch came in Fl, they offered us green card right away.Amazing! Now I live in Texas c my family. My contract is up.Hope that more Filipino therapist will sign up with them. No company is perfect. But if I do it all over again, I will sign up with them again.

commentLet me share with u what I liked about this company.. First, they are organized and they have different departments that are all trying their best to help u and understand what ur trying to say :P What separates Avant from the rest of other agencies? They have a transition team that helped me "understand" the reality of working here in the US. My other favorite is the Immigration department for their swift delivery of my GC. I got mine in 4 months! I even went past my friends who got to the US earlier than I did & yeah they eventually signed up with Avant too coz I saw their faces at Avant's FB page :P. Avant is very experienced in taking care of foreign professionals & they really know what they're doing. For some of u who are in doubt about joining Avant, that's alright. U have every right choose which one u like- who will work the best with u. But I tell u, if I hadn't joined Avant, I might still be under H1B or even out of status like some of the people out here. I am just grateful for their good service and I will never regret the decision I made in joining this great agency.

commentI now live comfortably in the US because of Avant. It has been four years and I was done with my contract with them years back, but I still continue to promote Avant up to now and will forever be thankful for their help. As long as you do your part in submitting the requirements and passing the board exam, everything will come easy. There may be times that it takes longer than usual for them to find a placement, but we have to be realistic and fair that employment is not always easy especially if we have no background and experience in the US. Personally though, I had a placement right away and was treated just and fairly by the company. People I have referred to Avant are also pleased.

commentWell, my experience in avant I would say is very good. I did not give the 5 star rating because obviously, every company has their own cons. Avant employees who assist us are one of the most accommodating and professional people u will ever encounter. There was one not really nice PT instructor but she is now not with Avant. Avant is very concern with the needs of their PTs they will help u in everything that they can do but of course they have to balance the situation. I never had a problem with Avant, adjustment period was really hard for me but I think they did their part in the transition.... People who says that they are not prompt with the emails should realize that he is not the only person that they need to focus on. About the release of visa, that does not only depends with Avant, it depends on the US immigration as well. Please be fair and considerate.

commentI consider Avant to be one of the good ones for several reasons, and to be honest i can't say it's also the best as i have no experience with other companies. As one reviewer had mentioned, this company does try their best and i agree wholeheartedly! They provided review classes, arranged and paid for NPTE with airfare and accommodation, all i had to do was comply with requirements, study, and pass the exam. Soon after i got the H1B and proceeded to work, and received my green card a year later. To summarize it all, i did my part and they did theirs, i got what i needed and Avant stays in business for other professionals to benefit from this good program. I highly recommend trying Avant above others, they did their best to keep in contact, exhibited some patience for my tardiness, shows appreciation(got card on a holiday and sometimes with gift card), gave some compassion when my father passed(able to go home and received flowers when i returned). They do their best to treat you as best as possible down to a personal level, and for that i am indeed thankful.

commentThree years ago I received a message from a friend who told me to apply with Avant Healthcare.. I was in the Middle East that time and was my dream to come here in the US.. Just days after I emailed the company I received a call from one of their agents and told me they are glad to accept me as one of their applicants.. So I went home to the Philippines and started processing my papers.. I was qualified for an immigrant visa by then, they also took time to process my husband's papers (that was a plus!).
From day one here in the US, Avant had been helpful with regards to our review for our licensure exams.. I didn't pass the first time but still Avant accepted me and still continued to help me for the next exam.. It had been very stressful but still Avant was there all the way.. They don't consider you only as an employee but they consider you as family, the staff are very friendly and approachable, you won't feel you are any different from them. They will help you all the way, from review to job placement. Also gives you advices with regards to life itself..
I am very grateful for the help and guidance Avant has given me, they have become an instrument on the fulfillment of my career life here in the US..
Thank you very much Avant! I hope you will still continue helping others to fulfill their dreams of a wonderful life here in the US.. :-)

My experience with Avant is nothing short of excellent. I have no complaints so far. I was with another recruting agency in the US for a year before joining Avant and my only regret is that I never knew about Avant before! Would have saved myself a lot of hassle and time spent with my old employers.
Avant really tries hard for their employees. They are very helpful and they bend over backwards to help you in every way possible. I don;t consider them as a company, I consider them my work family now. They truly have wonderful, wonderful people working there, and the recruiters are great at their job. My recruiter especially was and still is excellent , and she's become a personal friend of mine, a mentor and a big sister to me. Avant has a week long orientation and they even help prepare you for the NPTE with study aids, tutorials, online materials, books, live instructors, the works. This is truly a company that cares for their employees and want to help you succeed. Sure not everyone will make it with them, that;s life, but majority of their stories are success ones and you can't beat that.
Even the CEO of the company is super down to earth, you would hardly believe she was the CEO! Wonderful lady.
I can go on all day about Avant, I have nothing but praises and accolades for the very hard working team they are.
If you truly want a professional experience with a team that cares for you and really works hard to make sure your best interest are met----you can not go wrong with Avant.
What do you have to lose? Try them, and see for yourself.

commentThe company is not concerned about the applicant/ employees. Never reply to emails/ phone calls for weeks. Its impossible to get in contact with them. Poor communication skills by both HR & Recruitment. Its a genuine advice from a person who has undergone a lot of trouble & suffering coz of them.

Avant, in my very humble unbiased opinion, remains the core pillar when it gets to recruitment and employee satisfaction.

Avant-changed-my-life-for-the-better - 5/1/2013 - I have been in the US for 2 years before I came to Avant. Those who say Avant is not a good company never knew the agency I was with before. I have always been thankful for how Avant has treated me with respect since day 1. All the recruiters were very nice and helpful and surely are very reliable. I never had such wonderful experience with an orientation like what Avant provides. They see to it that everything is taken care of to the very last detail. In my previous company, I never even had an orientation. Just a "meet and greet" at the airport with a recruiter that I've already met and surely greeted before. I remember how scared I was to go to the bank to deposit my first paycheck coz I didn't know how to fill out the form at that time. In Avant, they provide you with those information and more. They even teach you what to say and how to say it with a random person talking with you about the weather! Even with the experience that I had working in the US, I still had a lot to learn from the orientation Avant gave. I am not only talking for myself but for all those who were reviewing for the exams at the time I was there. They were pretty lucky to have been with Avant even before the exams. I still am continuing to learn until now because help is just a phone call/text/email away. Sure, they don't sit around and look at their phones all day and get back to every person right away. But that's maybe because they're busy giving the best help possible to the person who's ahead of you. And they're going to give you the same excellent service if you're willing to wait your turn. Avant may not be the best company all the time. No one is. But they sure try to be. To me, Avant is not even a company. They're family now. -
