As an English Department Head, English Teacher, and Academic Advisor, I have the opportunity to create a supportive and enriching educational experience for students. My job was to foster a nurturing, organized classroom environment focused on foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills. I also created hands-on, inquiry-based lessons to introduce core scientific concepts and encourage curiosity and critical thinking. My duties as a Second Grade Homeroom, Third Grade Science Teacher and Peer mentor my duties include core instruction in literacy, numeracy, and science for young learners. I created a nurturing, organized classroom environment that supports foundational skills in reading, writing, math, Social Studies and science, fostering students' curiosity, creativity, and social development. I also design hands-on, inquiry-based science lessons, assess student progress across subjects, and communicate regularly with parents to encourage growth.
