Biography:Lina Boynovska is an accomplished lawyer with over 13 years of experience in immigration law, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applications, green cards based on employment or family petitions, deportation cases, consular processing and naturalization. In the last seven years she has expanded her practice to commercial and residential real estate transactions and family law. Lina Boynovska represents both corporations and individuals. Born in Bulgaria, Lina Boynovska received a Baccalaureate degree from the Law Department of Sofia University Kliment Ohridski in 1992 and completed a judicial clerkship with Judge Fankova at the Ruse District Court. Upon immigrating to the USA she completed a Juris Doctor degree at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. Prior to establishing her own law firm in 1999, she mastered the intricacies of immigration law while working as an associate with prominent Chicago immigration attorneys. Lina is admitted to practice in Illinois (1997) and District of Columbia (1999), and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and Chicago Bar Association (CBA). She is fluent in Bulgarian and Russian and conversant in Macedonian. Since 2004 Lina Boynovska has been serving as President of Bulgarian American Association in Chicago. She was a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services in 1997 and the First Annual Award for Public Service of Bulgaria Sega Weekly Newspaper (2007)
