| | Biography: | Ms. Rashmi Parthasarathi joined Banerjee & Associates in 2016. She was raised in the Washington D.C./Virginia metro area. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a minor in Biology. In 2014, she graduated from Houston College of Law (formerly known as South Texas College of Law). While at Houston College of Law, Rashmi was a founding member of the Social Sciences and Law Society of South Texas. Additionally, she took part in the Immigration and Asylum Clinic where she worked on Asylum and U-visas for indigent clients. Prior to joining Banerjee & Associates she worked at two Houston area law firms, focusing on family and employment immigration.
Rashmi is experienced in a variety of immigration related matters and nationality issues including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), VAWA, Family-based immigration petitions, as well as all types of Employment-based immigration matters. Rashmi is licensed to practice law in Texas. She is a member of the South Asian Bar Association, Asian American Bar Association, and Houston Young Lawyer Association.
