| | Biography: | Priti was born and raised in Delhi, India and moved to Chicago, Illinois with her family when she was 17. She obtained her bachelor degree from Northern Illinois University where she majored in Finance. After working as a financial analyst, Priti decided to pursue a career in law in order to join a profession where she could directly and positively impact people and their lives.
During law school Priti worked with various non-profit legal organizations assisting victims of domestic violence and immigrants with their legal issues. During this time, Priti developed a passion for immigration law and decided to pursue it as her major area of practice.
After graduating from law school Priti went on to work as a staff attorney at State Court of Georgia where she worked on complicated legal cases relating to business, personal injury and insurance law, and gained insight into the inner workings of the legal system. She subsequently entered private practice where she gained extensive experience in immigration, family law and business law.
After relocating to Virginia, Priti continues her practice in the field of immigration, family and business law. She believes that everyone has a right to zealous, quality and intelligent legal representation and this belief is visible in the manner in which she practices and represents her clients.
Despite her busy work schedule, Priti finds time to volunteer as a pro bono attorney with various non-profit organizations including DCVLP and Human Rights First.
