| | Biography: | Ms. Borkowski is an "Abogada Consultora" (Consulting Attorney) to the Mexican Consulate in Little Rock (2007 to Present). Ms. Borkowski has been appointed by the United States District Court, Eastern District as a member of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel (2009-2012). Ms. Borkowski graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a B.A. degree in International Studies in 1993 and received her Juris Doctor in 1996. She was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 1997 and to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Arkansas in 1998. She has lived, studied, and travel in Spain and Mexico. Ms. Borkowski taught Immigration Law at the UALR, William H. Bowen School of Law, Spring 2007. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Pulaski County Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Associations. Additionally, on the Little Rock Sister Cities Commission, Ms. Borkowski serves as the Liaison to Pachuca, Little Rock's sister city in Mexico.
