| Biography: | Mai Neng Moua was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 2007. She received her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in May 2007. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science, and East Asian Studies from the University of St. Thomas in May 2004.
Prior to her admission to the Minnesota bar, Mai Neng worked as a Law Clerk with Davis & Goldfarb from June 2004 to October 2007, with responsibility for a wide variety of family and employment-based immigration law cases. She also served as a student attorney with William Mitchell’s Immigration Law Clinic, representing clients in various administrative proceedings.
As an attorney with Davis & Goldfarb from October 2007 to October 2012, Mai Neng worked with a wide range of clients including large and small corporate companies, educational institutions, and private individuals. Her areas of focus include naturalization, family-based immigrant petition, waivers of inadmissibility, asylum application/interview, and removal defense. She has additional experience in PERM (the Department of Labor’s permanent labor certification program) applications; immigrant petition for alien workers in the first, second, and third preference category; adjustment of status applications; and non-immigrant work visas such as H-1B, L-1, and TN.
As an attorney with Krueger Law Firm from October 2012 to December 2013 and a sole practitioner with Mai N Moua Law Office from January 2014 to the present, Mai Neng is responsible for overseeing the personal injury including no fault and bodily injury claims, arbitration, and mediation, as well as immigration including naturalization with and without medical waivers, family and employment based immigration petitions, asylum, waivers of inadmissibility, and removal defense.
