| | Biography: | Kyle Sherman is a Partner in Berry Appleman & Leiden's Atlanta office. He represents employers before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor and Department of State in connection with applications and petitions for immigrant and nonimmigrant employees. Mr. Sherman also has a particular expertise in certain niche areas of business immigration, including the immigration implications of reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions. He is invited regularly to speak on immigration topics by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and other organizations. Mr. Sherman currently serves on the AILA Business Immigration Committee and is a past chair of the Atlanta Chapter of AILA, as well as the national association's USCIS Texas Service Center Liaison Committee. Mr. Sherman is noted in such ratings guides as Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and Georgia Super Lawyers. Mr. Sherman received his Juris Doctorate from the Emory University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Accounting from Centenary College of Louisiana.
