- READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING AKULA LAW - - Jayess - 3/18/2015 9:48:36 AM
By 'They or Them' in the following, I am referring to the Paralegals and staff at Akula Law Firm. (sticking to the facts) - They will not take the pain to check their spam folder (even after 10 days of receiving the documents). They will in turn blame you saying you didn't provide the requested documents without checking their spam folder. - They will not respond to your request, as per their definition, you have to be their 'client'. Another word for someone with no time to question them as they provide cases in bulk. Good catch, but everyone who is coming to you should know this 'catch'. - They work with utterly incomprehensible paralegals who cannot communicate English (I can name him here if needed). The paralegal should at least be able to convey and hence this point is very essential to this review. Communication skills are of paramount importance when their only mode of communication is phone. - They will blame the 'client' baselessly saying, 'your profile is not good, but still we will try'. How can they earmark anyone when their job is to represent the client the right way? - Even though paralegals are sitting in the office, the front desk lady has been well trained to avoid calls. You should be aware of this in case you have a time-sensitive case with USCIS and know whom to avoid. - Main lawyer Kavitha will never appear in the picture as the whole process is dealt by paralegals. I have explicitly asked to for an appointment with Kavitha and was advised that the paralegals are competent enough to deal with you. - The EXACT same evaluation document was submitted for a previously 'rejected' petition for the second time around! Does a bandaid which didn't work for first wound somehow work magically for the second wound? This clearly shows the power of Copy-Paste capabilities. To elaborate on the above point a little bit.. - I suggested that I am willing to provide in a detailed lengthy articulate writing as to why my work field relates to my degree. In turn, a paralegal from this firm said that USCIS wont accept anything from candidate. This is equivalent to providing FALSE information. - An address change with 3 supporting documents (utility bills) were provided and they didn't even bother to change that in response to USCIS. Still the old address prevails in their petition to USCIS. That is why we received the documents at old address and not the updated one provided in THREE different forms of proof. PS - NEVER underestimate the power of an honest online review. This is the age of information technology and truth will reach people the more you try to play games with innocent professionals.
