| Biography: | Karen Winarsky is a Partner in Berry Appleman & Leiden's Atlanta office. She has extensive experience representing both employers and individuals in a variety of business immigration law matters. Ms. Winarsky has a particular expertise with respect to the broadcast and entertainment, information technology, manufacturing, and insurance industries. Ms. Winarsky has previously served as a member of the Department of Labor Liaison Committee and USCIS' Nebraska Service Center Liaison Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She also co-chaired the Immigration Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law for four years and co-chaired the American Bar Association-American Law Institute's (ALI-ABA) immigration law seminar series. Ms. Winarsky is a frequent speaker on employment-based immigration topics at seminars and conferences. She is a member of the Journal of Law and Policy at the Washington University Law Review. She is noted in International Who's Who of Business Lawyers, Best Lawyers of America and Chambers USA. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Washington University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University.
