Biography:	Josue Dorleus is a practicing attorney well-versed in matrimonial and family law, immigration, finance and corporate law, in addition to practicing in other areas. As someone who has gone through the American immigration process himself, coming to the United States in 1994 from Haiti, Josh is more than familiar with how rigorous obtaining visas and the path to citizenship can be, and is committed to making it easier for those looking for a fresh start in a new country. Professionally, Josh interned under the Honorable Jeffrey A. Goodstein, A.J.S.C. of the Nassau County Supreme Court; ensured the accuracy of documents issued by the Department of Justice; prepared NOTOC/NOPIC HAZMAT violation notices; and more. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and his Juris Doctorate from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He is currently a member of the New York City Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Brooklyn Bar Association. Josh is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Josh was also a New York Bar Diversity Fellow from 2010 to 2011. In his spare time, Josh enjoys playing chess and listening to jazz music. He plays piano at his local church on Sundays.
