| Biography: | David Berry is one of the founding Partners in the San Francisco office of Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP. Over the years, Mr. Berry's practice has encompassed every aspect of U.S. and global corporate immigration. Mr. Berry currently focuses on working with human resources professionals to optimize their companies' immigration programs. He serves as the managing partner of the firm's Global Migration Practice, addressing the worldwide challenges of corporate migration, mergers and acquisitions, and global compliance. Mr. Berry is a recognized leader in the field of immigration law. He has served as Chairperson of the Northern California American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Bar Association of San Francisco Immigration Committee, as well as national Business and Industry Liaison to AILA. Mr. Berry has provided testimony to the United States Commission to Reform Immigration, and he has served on the boards and committees of a number of immigration and global migration organizations. Mr. Berry is a frequent speaker on immigration matters before AILA, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC), the Bay Area Professionals in Relocation Management (BAPRM), the Western International Personnel Association (WIPA), and other professional associations, corporations, and research institutions.
