Biography:Daniel has been a partner with the firm since 2013. He has spent several years researching and publishing on corporate immigration matters for a variety of publications. Daniel serves on the Editorial Board of Bender’s Immigration Bulletin, a LexisNexis® periodical providing news and analysis to immigration lawyers nationwide. His articles have appeared in publications, including the LexisNexis® publication Bender’s Immigration Bulletin, Nolo Press, and the Stanford Law and Policy Review. He has received the Martindale-Hubbell® directory’s highest rating (“AV”), and is listed within its Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers, as well as the Chambers USA guide to corporate immigration counsel. A long-standing and active member of AILA, Daniel is regularly invited to speak at both national and state AILA conferences, and he is currently an active member of AILA’s National Customs & Border Protection Liaison Committee. Daniel is an active participant in AILA’s Military Assistance Program, which provides free legal representation to military members and their families. He also mentors attorneys providing pro bono assistance to asylum seekers through the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights.
