Moved to Spain to continue as a Year 5 class teacher at Runnymede College, the most academically outstanding International School in the country. In my first year, I utilised my skills coming from a school with a specialised reading programme to support the many ESL learners we had at Runnymede, receiving praise for the way I taught English. In my second year I took on the added responsibility of being the Head of both History and Geography from Nursery through to Year 8.

In my first three years of teaching, I developed my pedagogy across a range of classroom environments, cultivating my skills across multiple year groups. As a Key Stage Two teacher in Year 4, I achieved an 'Outstanding' rating in my final assessment when obtaining my QTS. I then transitioned into a KS1 role, teaching Year 1 in my second year. During the pandemic, I provided support to trainee teachers across various year groups, whilst being given a challenging Year 5 class to form positive relationships and solve behaviour management issues that had arisen in their previous year.
