I've been employed as graduate teaching assistant to teach General Chemistry labs for Undergraduate Students. I also hold office hour where I help the students to better understand the concept of general chemistry and how those knowledge can be applied in practical life through lab work.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I have had the privilege of teaching General Chemistry laboratory sessions for undergraduate students. My primary role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences where students can apply theoretical knowledge to practical laboratory experiments. I guide them through various chemical reactions, lab techniques, and safety protocols, ensuring that they not only understand the scientific concepts but also the real-world applications of those concepts in day-to-day life. In addition to teaching lab sessions, I hold office hours where I provide personalized support to students, answering their questions, clarifying difficult concepts, and assisting them in troubleshooting any challenges they encounter in the lab. I work closely with students to foster a deeper understanding of general chemistry, emphasizing its importance in everyday situations, such as the chemical processes behind cooking, cleaning, and environmental issues. My goal is to help students connect the dots between abstract chemical principles and their practical uses, ultimately building their confidence in both academic and real-world settings. Furthermore, my responsibilities extend to proctoring exams, ensuring a fair and secure testing environment, and addressing any issues that may arise during the examination process. I also play a significant role in grading assignments, lab reports, and exams, providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding of the material and their performance in the course. Through this experience, I have honed my communication, teaching, grading, and problem-solving skills, while reinforcing my passion for chemistry and education.--
