At Mahou San Miguel, I worked in the New Technologies department, focusing on automating and digitalizing key business processes. One of the main projects I contributed to was the automation of invoice processing, a critical task given the company’s large volume of international operations. Previously, all invoices were manually processed, with employees entering data field by field. To optimize this, I helped develop and train AI models for text extraction, allowing key invoice information to be automatically retrieved and integrated into the company’s system. Now, instead of manual data entry, employees simply scan invoices, review extracted data in an app, and confirm accuracy. This project significantly improved efficiency, reducing manual workload and minimizing human errors, while enhancing the overall speed of operations.--
