Don't expect good pay and no hike even if your bill rate high -

commentI don't recommend to join here.
Doesn't bother about employee rights. You paid less even if client bill rate is high for long time.
HR policies doesn't add benefits for employees.
They only allow to join as salaried employee with H1b status.Even though you have 10+ years experience with best skill set in market.
If salaried, they pay for 10 vacations, 10 client holidays, No sick leaves. They don't revise your salary with good rate per year.
only 401k. Medical plan - you have to pay around $650 per family each month.
Note:Before you join. discuss more with HR and get official mail on your benefits.

commentHorrible...Terrible. They make you work all day and night with very low pay in the market. Can't even pay you 50% of the billing rate that they get from the client.This company should definitely be avoided. KPMG is the only big client they have until now and they make you work like slaves. Who ever is in favor of Mr.Boss will be tolerated and rest will be tortured. Period!!!

commentUnhealthy work culture. Heavy favoritism. Hard working employees are exploited to the core and paid ultra low. Sr.VP and few other Sr.Managers are often seen insulting and humiliating their subordinates.Lowest pay as per market standards.

commentThere is 'absolutely' no room for growth here. Employees are expected to sweat day and night for no extra pay. To make things worse, their KPMG account is under the leadership of an unqualified and selfish dolt who thinks of himself as a Demi-God and made this place a home of slaves.This must be reported to labor department.

commentMismanaged, disorganized and unrealistic expectations. No scope for growth. Less Pay. Zero Bonus. The culture here encourages you to work at mediocre level. Pretty smart people who are working their a** off aren't rewarded in the slightest.

commentThis company is good for typical desis. They wanted you to work more but during the appraisal's time they tell you all the problems that company is having. No credibility. It happened every year I was working there. You have job safety but with lot of slavery work and least pay in the market. I DO NOT recommend for the people joining the company who are just starting their career. But there is a good scope for the people who had experience. The company should concentrate on getting long term client projects. Overall, any company would have good and bad, I would rate it as an average company. If you have no option other than to join this, then go ahead but not a dream and great job!

commentI worked for Orion Systems Integrators Inc for 3 yrs and Orion India Systems for 2 years. It is an excellent place to work for. The environment here is such that you are always challenged to do better and better all the time on personal as well as professional front. I really enjoyed working with Pradeep and all these years he was my reporting manager. I really admire his knowledge about the business, his energy, focus, client management and vision for Orion.
I have worked in Orion as well as outside companies. One thing I noticed which is significantly different in Orion is it has a personal touch and you will not lose your individuality when working with Orion. Every person is treated as is and respected with his positives and negatives. I think this is a very significant characteristic of the company.

commentOne of the best company that I worked with in recent years. Many good things to mention.
Pros:
1. Good technology projects and strategic partners for many clients.
2. Comparatively good pay and many with 6 digit salary
3. Many in the company for 8-9 years and more
4. Pay on time and that too bi- monthly
Cons: yes, need to really work and stay technical enough to survive.

commentMany of the job postings for Orion are at the Woodcliff Lake/Montvale office in NJ. This is a difficult and politicized environment to work in. The Sr. Manager who has been mentioned in many other posts continues to work there. He has not training as a manager and has put his family members in key positions throughout the company.
If you are located in Woodcliff lake, NJ, you will have no access to other Sr. Managers. There is no career ladder. And there is little chance for anything but negative recognition, mainly due to the fact the the Sr. Manager in charge likes to always be in the client spotlight and never listens to anyone else.

commentOh my god ... this is a hell of firm ... There are politics at every level. No importance to any individual or his work. You have to suck up to the manager to live. No individual self respect. No one (the management) cares for what you do. They only care for how much you make for them. Its terrible hell. Stay out of this company.
I'm currently working but I have a visa constraint...thinking to go back than working in this pig hole

commentIt is really a good company to work with. I am with the company for extended period of time and have seen people much closer.
Although as mentioned by other people in other posts, there are few issues with some managers and I agree that management pamper them upto some extend but I would not pay attention to small details like that when I am associating myself with company for long term relationship.
Company has good HR. Nice salary structure & potential to grow.

It is a shame that you publically butcher someone like this - Why you could not dare to tell him in face what he did wrong to you - Asked you to be a success and committed?
I worked with him several years and i see him pushing people hard when the guys dont just do their job - he is all for perfection and customer satisfaction.
i recommend you to stand up in your feet and call him one day to let him know what went wrong here.

commentI read the comments about Mr. Pradeep T and i worked for him 2 years and then after with other account managers at orion. when i compare; i would love to work for him again. But let me tell you atleast he cares and he direct you towards success. Yes, he dont appreciate any over smart folks and they definitely have issues with him. Seems like first guy bit over smart :).
He is really struggling as he dont have a good second Tier. Even when i worked with him; i did not help him in managing. its easy to comment bad; but its not that easy to do what he does esp with the client he manages.
regarding company; they are really good in HR and immigration matters and they will be a good success.

commentManagement has some issues with vision. I read above review about Pradeep etc. IMHO, the root problem is lack of decision making end of core management. They just don't want to do anything or even think about something different. This lead them to behavior of pampering Pradeep T.
On other end, company is very good for consulting work. Their relationship with client is great and they do have long term relationship with their clients. They have very less successful off-shore model - again goes to Pradeep T & brothers as they are all in-charge.
One credit I want to give to company - they are very good and supportive on immigration matters.
HR was OK till I left the company.
