Hello, I'm Valeria Valdez, and although I'm not currently employed, I bring seven years of valuable experience as a Special Education Teacher to the table. I hold a master's degree in Neuropsychology, which has equipped me with a deep understanding of cognitive processes. I'm thrilled about the prospect of joining your team. During my tenure in Mexico, my primary role was to identify students facing learning challenges and assess their needs. I worked closely with teachers and parents, sharing insights about each student's educational level and suggesting tailored adjustments to enhance their learning experience. In cases where specialized attention was necessary, I facilitated referrals to specialists. My role extended beyond assessment; I fostered effective communication among parents, teachers, and students to facilitate holistic development. Additionally, I conducted workshops and provided guidance to educators and school administrators on embracing neurodiversity, emphasizing the importance of accommodating every student, regardless of their condition. My experience also includes a stint at the Tijuana Mental Health Hospital, where I served as a child neuropsychologist. Using neuropsychological batteries, I evaluated hospitalized minors and those abroad, assessing various cognitive processes such as attention, memory, and inhibitory control. When difficulties arose, I developed tailored rehabilitation plans and maintained detailed session reports. I'm a dedicated learner, constantly seeking growth opportunities through certifications and academic pursuits. I thrive in a supportive work environment where open communication is encouraged, allowing me to question ideas and collaborate effectively with colleagues. My passion lies in helping people and sharing my knowledge, fostering meaningful connections along the way. I look forward to the possibility of contributing my expertise to your team.--
