Highlights:One of my favorite teaching experiences was leading a group of students through a rigorous project-based learning experience. We began a community service project in which students researched, planned, and implemented projects to address local challenges. Seeing their development, not only academically but also in empathy, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, was really fulfilling. Seeing them present their projects to the community and seeing the positive impact they had emphasized the value of hands-on, practical learning in developing well-rounded persons.
