I have BSc in MLS (ASCPi), MSc, and PhD degrees in health related fields. I have more than 20 years of job experience in medical laboratories, and universities of Ethiopia. I developed materials for Medical Laboratory Science students. I was doing routine and advanced laboratory tests in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Urinalysis, and others laboratories, as well involved in Quality assurance programs. I conducted number of medical research, and published 50+ articles in peer-reviewed research journals.
• Lecture and mentor graduate program clinical laboratory science student in the areas of Clinical chemistry, and microbiology. • Lecture and Mentor undergraduate program medical laboratory science students • From January 2016 until August 2019,I was head of department of Medical Laboratory sciences, and lead both the academic and administration activities of the department. Besides, I was member of Academic council of college of health Sciences, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. • Provided routine and complex medical laboratory tests for patents in different health institutions laboratories (reference laboratory, hospital laboratory and health center laboratories) starting from phlebotomy, sample processing, analyze, result interpretation, mainly in the clinical chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, molecular biology and others alone, as well with students • Member and secretary of Academic Standards and Curriculum Review Committee (ASCRC) of College of Health Sciences, AAU, (since 2016 till now) • Conduct scientific research, independently and with my colleagues and published in reputable journals.
