Designed and fabricated novel chiral 'shuriken' shaped nanostructure arrays which exhibit high sensitivity to surface binding events. Developed surface functionalisation strategies to detect a multitude of target proteins involved with diseases such as bovine mastitis and SARS-CoV-2 with high specificity. Conducted research on chiral SERS to differentiate between compound enantiomers.--
