• Consult on the newcos entities (Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Uruguay) accounting activities in the First Quarter 2023 (including Year End activities as Transfer Pricing) • Work close with the local vendor team to reconcile Intercompany balance • Perform double ledger reconciliation • Attend External Audit • From the Second Quarter 2023 on transition to consult Mexico entity accounting activities • Work on the accounting reconciliation • Perform monthly closing activities • Prepare monthly analysis variation on the P&L and Balance Sheet and include comments to present to the leadership and Controlling & Reporting. • Comply with local regulation preparing the quarterly financial reports and government fillings • Partner cross functionally with Brazil GL Consultant to create a digital project to reconcile the electronic accounting report (local regulation) with Verizon financial. This activity consisted in two main tasks: prepare the validation and Google Slides mapping the process to present to the leadership team and work on the digital solution using Knime. • Work cross functionally with the international team looking for opportunities to optimize end to end processes. From August/2022 to December/2022 – Outsourcing & Compliance Team • Perform Good Receipt applicable to Latam countries based on the annual budget approved, checking compliance and regulation under Verizon Corporate Policy • Support Funding process, to transfer money to subsidiaries • Work on the Latam countries bank unclear GL accounts in order to analyze the open balance by aging list and get in touch with the main sources B2C Team and Latam Payments to provide the clearing or if applicable eliminating the pending register. After going through all the possibilities, document and perform a manual entry to write the balance off to P&L. • Instruct the Intern and apprentice in their tasks • Bring in house the Verizon Connect Chile Payment & Billing, mapping and creating Desktop Procedure to support the transition. • Transition activities to other consultant due to job rotation and move from the Outsourcing & Compliance team to the GL Accounting Team.--
