Overview

NAICS Industry: Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services
H-1B Dependent: Yes - Willfull Violator: No

Jean Martin, Inc. filed 127 labor condition applications (LCAs) for H-1B visas and 4 labor certifications (LCs) for green cards during fiscal years 2022 - 2024. Jean Martin was ranked number 1,798 among all visa sponsors. Additionally, all petitions were certified!

Before Jean Martin can hire foreign workers, whether permanently or temporarily, it must submit labor certifications to the Department of Labor (DOL). These certifications confirm compliance with wage requirements for the specified job locations. The reports below summarize Labor Condition Applications (LCA) for H-1B visas and Labor Certifications (LC) for green cards filed by Jean Martin. This data represents only the number of applications submitted and does not guarantee visa approvals or worker hires.

The LCA data includes applications for various purposes: new employment, continuation or changes to previously approved employment, new concurrent employment, changes in employer, and amended petitions. Typically, only LCAs for new employment require an H-1B visa cap if the employer is not cap-exempt.For example, Jean Martin submitted 131 LCAs and LCs during fiscal years 2022 - 2024. However, this figure does not necessarily reflect the number of foreign workers hired, as visa applications can be denied. Additionally, employees renewing or transferring H-1B visas or changing work locations may need to file new LCAs.

The DOL generally certifies more than three times the number of foreign worker requests compared to the H-1B visas issued by USCIS. Therefore, there is no direct correlation between the number of workers certified by the DOL and the H-1B visas issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

1. Don’t trust this fellow company he or she can manipulate things however they want to.
2. They may stress or depress you by putting false allegations when you wanna leave them.
3. Have a written communication of what you speak before signing a offer letter.
4. This guys should be banned from applying H1-B visa since these exploiting the employees?

1) Even very tiny(single digit employee count) consulting companies also allow their employees to access their payslips and w2 directly from the company's payroll service provider websites. Why is Jean Martin not giving this facility to their employees?

2) During our period, we will not get our payslip and W2 properly whenever we ask questions against them. We felt that they utilize that technique to control the agitating employees.

Is there any link between point 1 & 2?

Entered the US in Feb 2015. Got numerous offers where I was asked to pay the H1 fees. This company never asked me to pay for my H1. Highly Professional in this space

Just started working. TY Mike for a methodical approach in placing me at the Client site.

Things I like: Breakfast and lunch boxes in the office. Free iPhone, Soda's and Snicker Bars :)

Love your midtown location. Wish I got a job in NYC, but hopefully someday I can transfer back.

Adios !

★★★★★ - EXCELLENT Firm to work for - - Ajay Tal - 2/20/2014 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Most often people with very good experience with a firm do not take time to submit reviews. Hence reviews are usually written by competitors pursuing the same resources or 1 or 2 bad apples. They keep coming to the site and do not give their contact nor any sort of proof points.

I figured I should give me heartfelt review.

Facts:
1. This firm business for over 15(FIFTEEN) years. Track record means everything.
2. Being a Infra person, I work with several tech teams across various domains. In the last 2 years I have not heard about anyone's visa being held up or rejected. Meaning they have an excellent track record with the USCIS. Most of my friends in other firms were greeted with the usual 221 G's.
3. Lowest salary anyone gets is 65K. If you get lower than this, black out your details and post your paystub !. The highest I have know about is 175K.
4. My GC got through late 2013. I decided to continue working.

★★★★★ - Excellent firm to work for. - - Gopal.S - 10/5/2013 - flag as inappropriate - comment
I have been employed for over 6 years, since 2007. Have had a very good experience. Started 65K worked my way to over 125 p.a. The H1 process has been solid, About to get My GC. I have known over 100 of my colleagues who have had no issues with their H1 and GC as late as today. I am aware that even in tough immigration situation that exists over the last few years, there is near 100% approvals in new H1's, renewed H1's and GC's. Check it out in uscis.gov, since it is public information.

I do not understand such reviews by people with no proof whatsoever. Point being, do not corrupt these sites by giving your biased opinions.

      - 10/14/2013 - I agree with Gopal. I have been employed for a number of years in this Company. Have worked in Big Data Projects even before it became a popular terminology that it is these days. The career advice was honest and sincere, my immigration process has gone through atleast 1 H1 renewal(last year) and an I-140 approval in Sept 2013.

A two thumbs up from my end. - flag

This is company is expert on sue. They won mostly all the court proceedings. People like to fight with them, you can not escape from their contract, but they do many legal violations. In this country all types of proofs are accepted. If you have skill, please file all from day one using all types shared with others. That is the only way to bring them down.

★☆☆☆☆ - Developer - - Ravi - 11/1/2011 - flag as inappropriate - comment
I worked with them for long. Each company has some policy, here their policy is get strong, very strong employment contract. Rest everything will happen automatically. They sued huge number of people, have very good law knowledge(based on destroooooy of many people life). You can not even sleep properly even single night once you join with them. They also getting money from people apply visa, doing many illegal activities but without knowledge of law enforcement scanner. Let us see how long they will escape.......

★★☆☆☆ - Developer - - Ray - 3/28/2011 - flag as inappropriate - comment
To tell short, based on employment contrxxact & courttt ,they run their life. They will make to you sign heavy contract for low salary(Because of the low salary, people not able to manage).

Because of the heavy interaction with courtttt cases, they know very well, all the loop holes about how to do wrongs. At any cost they wouldn't create any evidence. No marketing skills as they believe consultant will find job.

No way to escape, either need to find job, or leave the country (my friend left the country without job). You can't ask questions them, they know how to control you.... They, Very smartly screw you lot and lot.
