This project was for the Indian Army for monitoring their network elements like satellite, encryption units, switches etc.
The software was developed using C in SCO UNIX platform using MySQL database. My role in this project was that of a developer. I was involved in the development of Fault management module, (implemented in C) which is a module in the LNMS FCP subsystem which manages the faults and changes of status of NEs.
Additionally I was involved in the development of data base modules, Test planning and execution for both functional and performance related scenarios.
I was also involved in deployment/installation of the software at defence sites in Jodhpur, Meerut and Delhi. As part of the assignment scope , I provided user training for ITI engineers and defence personnel across India.--
