Goal:As an elementary school teacher, my goal is to make sure that all of my students, no matter where they come from or how hard it is for them to learn, can get a good education that fits their needs. Following the rules of the No Child Left Behind Act, I want to make my classroom a place where all students, even those with different skills, feel welcome and supported so they can do well in school. To close achievement gaps and make sure that every kid has the chance to reach their full potential, I will keep improving my teaching methods through ongoing professional development, making decisions based on data, and using differentiated teaching methods.

In my first year at this Canadian-based school, I served as an ESL teacher for the lower elementary school. My job was to pull out students for remediation exercises and to provide one-on-one English lessons for struggling students.
In my 2nd and 3rd year, I was a homeroom teacher for an integrated 2/3 class. As the school was quite small, classes were combined. I taught all subjects, including reading, math, science, and social studies. In addition, I lead clubs (art/craft) as well as choir.
