1. Participated in a 10 person, team based Kaizen (constant improvement) project on the Lanco DD15 engine brake assembly machine. 2. Assisted in DOE (design of experiments) for validation of a new automated swage Control Valve assembly machine. 3. Resolved Manifold test stand ‘false reject’ failures by modifying the test stand and implemented a new work order to improve efficiency of productivity resulting in savings of ~$7,200 annually equating to~13K more manifolds and ~3/4-1 hr./day in indirect support. 3. Conducted test stand leakage correlation studies for Control Valves of the Jake Brake, leakage studies used to redesign testing methods for reduction of internal parts per million & scrap rate. 4. Identified a problem in the manufacturing process of the T-2 solenoid, prepared a hypothesis and conducted a 10 sample experiment showing results to confirm the hypothesis with a certainty of 84%, presented it to my superior and the project engineer upon whose instruction I had the process removed to address the risk of undetected failed parts going into the field. 5. Invited & Participated in the Brain Storming event for the Chinese Weichai Engine Brake Concept Selection. 6. Conducted ‘Push out’ load study on Navistar master Pistons. Implemented new work order to reduce scrap rate during assembly. 7. Experience with lathes, grinders, milling machines, CNC machinesand Six Sigma work ethic principles.--
