Develop preventative maintenance schedules for all facility equipment to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of production lines to identify potential issues or areas needing improvement.
- Maintain and repair various mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, compressors, Conveyors, gearboxes and related machinery.
- Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the Can-Making line, including changeovers and maintenance of machinery such as CanMan welders (CM16 and CMX1), Comaco seamers, Mecfond palletizers, and Cepak slitters.
Repair and overhaul the Universal Pack filling machine, Packcraft filling machine, and CFT seaming and filler to their basic condition.
- Conduct packaging materials trials with foreign and local vendors and provide recommendations to the external procurement team
- Supervise the changeover process, fine-tune settings, and conduct test runs of equipment when transitioning from one SKU to another.
- Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) that detail the step-by-step processes for performing routine activities on equipment.
- Ensure departmental KPIs (Safety, Overall Equipment Effectiveness [OEE], and Kaizen) are met, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly Pareto reports on factory downtime, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Mean Time Between Repairs (MTBR), and record breakdowns in the S.A.P. (System Application Product).
- Review maximum and minimum stock levels for MRP spare parts and reorder materials as needed.
- Perform all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance tasks.
- Effectively train lower-class trainees, helpers, and other assigned employees.
- Utilize predictive maintenance tools, such as vibration analyzers and thermal imaging cameras, to detect and diagnose issues. - Review the plant's OEE and perform other duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.--
