Current Project Period: January 2008 to Present Description: The E-Commerce area involves enhancements of a number of web services that are called from within online applications/ websites. Each of the web services typically caters to a functional business area like Order Insertion, Pricing Information, Tax Calculation, etc. Enhancement requests are a common feature in this area. The dynamic nature of user requirements need to be taken care of, keeping in mind that the existing functionalities do not get affected.The nature of work involves understanding and implementing new user requirements as well as resolving issues arising in the ecommerce services out of day to day observations of end users. Many of these services are ERP facing. So, I posess a working knowledge of ERP as well.
