Ownership of the project comes in the form of a three-company oil consortium made up of ExxonMobil, Petronas Malaysia and Chevron. I worked on the mooring hawsers of a Fuel Storage Vessel, in order to set a change-out criteria, using tension records and data analysis to evaluate a safety margin of the residual strength and thus determining when to change the hawsers according to a fatigue life model.
