My responsibilities include maintaining the award-winning news media website http://russian.rt.com (RuNET Awards 2014) as well as implementing new features in it.
Developed award-winning (RuNET Awards 2014) web application designed for delivering news content to end-users - http://russian.rt.com. The application extensively utilizes social network APIs (Facebook, Twitter, VK) for content sharing, and presented in various news aggregators like Google news. My roles in the development process are: - Analyze content makers team requirements, sythesize database design and software architecture based on this requirements. - Create and consume REST API for negotiating with third-party services and providing data for mobile and SmartTV application. - Backend programming and server-side scripting (Perl/Mojolicious framework) - Coordinating a team of three - a designer, front-end developer and SEO specialist. - Contacting with our partners' engineering teams to ensure our content is distributed properly.--
