During my internship at GAIL India Limited, I gained hands-on experience in process engineering by monitoring natural gas pipeline flow using SCADA systems. I analyzed collected data for trend analysis, which helped optimize process efficiency and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) standards. I also collaborated with senior engineers to modify P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams to enhance pilot-scale production, and tested natural gas quality through Gas Chromatography while assessing microbial growth and corrosion levels in pipelines to support maintenance activities.
