As a database administrator I have worked in two environments in which i have been able to Install, configure upgrade and patch Sql using Microsoft recommended best Practices. I have implemented security by creating and assigning logins using the principle of leas privileged, implemented data encryption. Used Backups and restore as my main DR solution and in some particular case use log shipping and replication. Concerning my HA solution i have used Fail over clustering and Always On Availability groups
In this Role my day to day task start with meetings with the different departmental team, checking of jobs ,alerts checking tickets , monitoring an tuning the performance of my data bases. always making sure that all my instances are running optimally--
