Highlights:Carried out site inspections to make sure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications customer requirements, as well as monitoring the testing and commissioning activities of electrical equipment. Designed a 10 MW PV solar farm for a remote village, the system’s electrical components and storage solutions were especially chosen for their high efficiency, extended reliability, and automaticity while prioritizing for lowest possible cost. Designed a 2000W Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation Inverter with PID feedback closed loop control and fault protection. Reduced the mean total harmonic distortion (<1.4% @ steady-state) without effecting the overall cost using LCL filters and implemented optional protective circuitry (Alarm relay for >=20A) Conducted power system security assessment under N-1 contingency conditions through power flow analysis and suggested system adjustments to avoid power outages.
