• Performed studies in power factor improvement (Backend Refinery Project) and designed and proposed full deployment of the power factor correction capacitors at the LV sides of the various distribution transformers, which was implemented and resulted in improved decrease in HV cabling losses by 41.5% and/or allowed equivalent additional loads to be connected to the system without the need for upgradation of the generation facility (Backend Refinery Plant Project). • Developed design and technical/procurement specification for the complete power distribution with major equipment included – MV/LV switchgear/switchboard, power factor correction banks, power transformers, Interconnect to exiting system, MV/LV MCC, MV/LV VFD, power/control cabling, motors (need for anti-condensation motor heaters), MV/LV earthing/equipotential bonding, outlets, lighting/emergency lightings (self-contained), etc..
