I started this job as Software Developer and became Consultant – Solution Architect. I have leaded many projects for many customers like Digi Malaysia, Vodafone Romania, Cosmote Romania, Swisscom Switzerland and Polkomtel Poland as Project Manager, Team Lead, Solution Architect and Developer as well. My responsibilities were to design and develop good quality software, create solutions that fitted their needs and assure the successful delivery of the software to the client.
Here I was involved in many Prepaid Billing projects (C/C++ and ProC with Oracle database on Linux & Solaris), as well as in GUIs - Customer Care or Companies’ internal GUIs (both Desktop and Web based – ASP.NET, C#, Visual Basic 6.0 and Java), redesign old customers GUIs using the latest technologies. I was also involved in testing and bug fixing (Unit tests and Integration tests) by using Corba Script and Pearl scripts for prepaid billing projects and application debugging for GUIs. Other tasks were to create documentation for projects and for customers like Customer Solution Description and Delta Functional Specification.--

My responsibilities were to deliver good software quality and deploy it on production servers, perform software maintenance activities, develop new features and administer SQL Server databases.
Project MSSM Portal: developed for IBM Switzerland. It was a web based application (ASP.NET/C# with Microsoft SQL Server database) used to manage the software packaging activity and provide external access to customers, in order to (up/down)load data and interact with the life-cycle flow of the software packages to be finally delivered. The product included rule-engine based validations, dynamic workflow and screen design, reporting using Sql Server Reporting Services, Notification and Alerting Engine implemented as Window service and so on. Project Butterfly: developed for IBM Romania. It was a web based application for management of human resources written in ASP.NET/C# with Microsoft SQL Server as database. It had an “n-Tier” architectural-model and included an import-export module, which made possible the interaction with external applications, using XML data.--

Project: ePetrochemicals This application belonged to Rompetrol Petrochemicals Company. It was an auction application, developed under my coordination as project manager. In that timeframe I also helped other Project Managers within the company to develop their applications. At the beginning the application was developed in ASP 3.0 with SQL Server. With me as project manager we began to develop using C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server; the reporting component used Crystal Reports.
