• Established the PR and communications campaign to promote the approval of the Mexican Official Consular ID card. This campaign led to the approval of this ID card in 38 counties of South Texas, including Harris County (Houston) that gave Mexicans without any official ID the chance to open banking accounts in several banks in those counties.
• Crafted the communications strategy against the execution of Mexicans in death row in Texas. This campaign was fundamental to halt the death execution process of 52 Mexicans for 6 months in 2003.
• Designed, developed the research process of news about Mexico for the Office of the President. The monitoring was focused in the signing process and promotion of the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) while innovating the process stablishing new deadlines and categorizing news, this led to a more comprehensible analysis of the stories about Mexico, and a more effective classification of them in the news data system.
• Edited the Consulate´s English language monthly newsletter (Mexican Notebook). Increased membership and circulation over 200% from 3,000 to 10,000 subscribers and created and supervised the migration process of the newsletter from print to digital.--
