Implementation of overall RSC activities of Alternative Energy Promotion Center/ National Rural and Renewable Energy Programme (AEPC/NRREP) relating to technical matters as detailed in work plan.
Alternative Energy Promotion Center/ National Rural and Renewable Energy Programme (AEPC/NRREP) has provided assistance to Resource Management Rural Empowerment Center (REMREC) in operation of Regional Service Center (RSC) covering Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapu and Kathmandu Districts. REMREC in line with the framework agreement held with AEPC/NRREP on August 18, 2013 and annual contract agreement dated October 7, 2013 is initiating RSC activities which will help community beneficiaries for ensuring community input and support for operating Mini/Micro-Hydro/Improved Water Mill, Solar and Biomass Energy Solutions at the project areas. As a MGE I am responsible to implement overall RSC activities of AEPC/NRREP relating to technical matters as detailed in work plan. I am responsible for assisting Team Leader in making sure that targeted output of the agreed work plan is achieved. I am also responsible for monitoring and assisting technical person working on Community Electrification activities in Regional Service Center (RSC) in a timely manner and of suitable standard to ensure the smooth implementation of specified RSC activities Further I am responsible for monitoring activities performed by Sub-Engineers, Social Mobilization Coordinator and District Coordinator and train them in technical and other professional’s matters.--

Rural Development through interventions of Renewable Energy Technologies, Livelihood Promotion, Community Mobilizations.
The Renewable Energy for Rural Livelihoods (RERL) was implemented from 1 April 2011 upon the successful completion of the Rural Energy Development Program (REDP) with main focus on enhancing rural livelihood. It is a joint project of Government of Nepal, United Nations Development Program and the World Bank. The objective of the program is to increase equitable access to energy services expanded for the poor women and socially excluded groups of Nepal. RERL supports the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) for implementing the Rural Energy Policy of 2006 in conjunction with the local-level environment mainstreaming following the decentralized rural energy planning and management. As an EDO I am responsible for the management, organizing and implementation of the participatory and decentralized energy development and environmental management package in the district. I am responsible for managing the database, planning, monitoring, implementation management and finance management related to the rural energy development and environment management program. Expected outputs are proper information systems, published databases, result monitoring, which are examples of program implemented with the consultancy organisation and Functional Groups oriented concepts, appropriate filing system in the District Development Committee: District Energy and Environment Section and others as related to rural energy development and environmental management.--
Technical Officer (TO) July 2008 - March 2011

Providing technical support for the installation of Renewable Energy Technologies at Rural Places.
As a Technical Officer, my job is to identify potential sites for the development and operation of Micro Hydro Power, prepare pre- and detailed feasibility study reports, survey design and cost estimates of rural energy technologies including the Bill of Quantities of Micro Hydro Schemes (MHS) for submission to the Technical Review Committee. I monitor and provide supervision during the implementation of development work. In addition, I visit community people and provide them with proper consultation about rural energy technologies and social mobilization processes.--
