Highlights:I was fortunate enough to send in my application through Mac’s Fish House in Provincetown website in January of this year. Thankfully Jayde – general manager was presented with the application and reached out. I was brought over on an internship J1 program through Mac’s which has allowed me to stay and work a little longer than a traditional J1 visa. Working for Mac’s has opened my eyes into what real hospitality is. Being a key player in how important it is to create a warm and welcoming first impression by greeting customers in a friendly, professional demeanour, having the ability to answer questions regarding menu items for take-out customers, to being organised on the door as far as planning out restaurants reservations has really brought into play my true passion for this industry and how I thrive in this field.
