Created communications materials for an email outreach campaign. Further, made a template for a monthly alumni newsletter, and drafted a social media post schedule and calendar. Aided the office’s efforts by designing infographics and other presentation materials.
My role was focused on supporting Georgetown University's outreach efforts to their global alumni community. I supported the team by producing communications materials and designing infographics.--

Analyzed media coverage, produced news breakdowns for companies in telecom, financial services, ridesharing, and other sectors. Learnt analytics tools like Meltwater and Critical Mention. Also helped use test a new internal portal used by the Flag team.
The media monitoring intern role was the first line of contact that Flag had with relevant news for clients. This role taught me the inner workings of a media analytics outfit, and illuminated the role of research and measurement within the communications planning process.--

Helped set up India’s first permanent sculpture park in Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur. Responsibilities included corresponding with artists, writing press briefs and curating the park’s web/social media presence. Helping set up India's first permanent sculpture park was a special experience. I had to be a swiss-army knife, executing various different roles and responsibilities. From social media management to event planning, this role was very versatile.--

Wrote feature articles on a diverse range of topics, from street-food reviews and sports to politics. Each article required thorough research, as well as field work and interviews. Working for one of India's largest English-medium finance newspapers was a learning experience. I got the chance to produce interesting feature pieces on a diverse range of topics. Also learned the inner workings of a large media organization.--
