The media monitoring intern role was the first line of contact that Flag had with relevant news for clients. This role taught me the inner workings of a media analytics outfit, and illuminated the role of research and measurement within the communications planning process.--

Helped set up India’s first permanent sculpture park in Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur. Responsibilities included corresponding with artists, writing press briefs and curating the park’s web/social media presence. Assisted in the installation of sculptures, and compiled data for the park’s Google Arts and Culture site.
Helping set up India's first permanent sculpture park was a special experience. I had to be a swiss-army knife, executing various different roles and responsibilities. From social media management to event planning, this role was very versatile.--

Wrote feature articles on a diverse range of topics, from street-food reviews and sports to politics. Each article required thorough research, as well as field work and interviews. Compiled, wrote and proofread a spreadsheet ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympics, breaking down the Indian Olympic contingent by state, gender, prior experience and age.
Working for one of India's largest English-medium finance newspapers was a learning experience. I got the chance to produce interesting feature pieces on a diverse range of topics. Also learned the inner workings of a large media organization.--
