Responsibilities: - • Recommends and implements LAN/WAN policies and standards, ensuring adherence to security procedures. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves Network problems. • Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipments and related Services. • Maintain and support Company’s LAN/WAN environment. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented Networks. • Plans and implements Network Security, including applying managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity and adding/deleting users. • Putting Restriction according to user’s level on Accessing Software Resources. • Installation, Configuration and Management of Software’s on Windows Server and Windows Professional. • Administration of Windows Server and Workstations in LAN/WAN environment. • Troubleshooting of Network and detecting the Security issues. • Record keeping of data in compact form using MS Access and Software designed by PRAL. • Management of different Servers that are connected though Virtual Private Network (VPN). • Database Administration (using SQL2000) of entire Motorway Project. • Maintains environment documentation of Log book i.e. includes Hardware Configuration and Maintenance, Software updates, Changes to the Application and all the changes made related to the Automated Toll Collection System (ATS). • Client Server application connectivity and troubleshooting to ensure integrity, reliability and confidentiality of Data Communicates with end user to ensure the development of bug free systems.
