ITESM, Prepa Tec caters for both International students and the Children of some of the wealthiest people in Mexico. In my post as a Maths Teacher, I was responsible for teaching Children from the age of 15 to 18. I was responsible for teaching 6 different classes each semester, with a teaching workload of 30 hours of classes per week. All classes were conducted in English.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: CLASSROOM TEACHING: The students that I teach are in 6 different classes and levels and although we adhere to the local National curriculum the levels could be likened to GCSE, further Maths and AS level. I have a Mathematical background and a real passion for Teaching Maths and as well as standard core curriculum I teach Algebra I and II, Analytic Geometry, Trigonometry, Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus. MARKING: As well as regular course marking, I use marking as part of my classroom and behaviour management strategy. I am happy to explain more about this at interview. I have developed my Teacher and mathematical skills over the last 12 years in post.--
