A process engineer involved in various FEED projects in the US, Canada, and Saudi Arabia since April 2014 and a registered chemical engineer in the Philippines. My experience includes process simulation development to support process studies, P&ID development, back checking, and modification, equipment sizing which include tanks, pumps, and heat exchangers, PSV relief scenario analysis and load calculation, flare header sizing and network analysis using FLARENET, and single line and network hydraulics.
Responsibilities • Developed design basis, design condition tables and diagrams, utility summaries, and other project documentation for utilities & offsites of various projects • Performed single line and network hydraulic studies using FATHOM and other proprietary software to ensure adequacy of existing systems for brownfield and revamp projects •Performed equipment sizing calculations include but are not limited to pumps and associated lines, tanks, vessels, equipment, and chemical packages •Prepared calculation sheet templates for various projects for consistency and standardization •Responsible for P&ID and PFD development, and ensuring technical quality at each issuance to client •Developed process simulation models using ASPEN HYSYS to support various process studies •Performed relief scenario analysis, relief device sizing, and flare network analysis using ASPEN Flare Network Analyzer using methods defined in API 520 and 521--
