I am working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Paragon. My daily routine job include create 2D CAD drawings for Manufacturing and new product development. I have worked with a group of engineers to design the products such as the In-line filters, Reverse Osmosis End Cap, 3/8” (three-eighths) KFA valve, 5-stage Under Counter Water System, and Valve-In-Head bypass.
Mechanical Design Engineer duties:
• Participate ODM projects of Pitcher Replacement Filter, Sport’s Bottle Replacement Filter, Reverse Osmosis Water System, Countertop Water Filtration System, and Straw Water Filter, while enhancing the aesthetic and functional requirements of our customer’s products. All of the products have passed National Science Foundation (NSF) certification.
• Manage our product’s entire CAD document.
• Collaborate production with foundry technicians to ensure manufacturability and tolerance fits.
• Manage design and development process of filters and its components, which includes part design, drafting, and assembly.
• Create the necessary tooling and equipment for manufacturing.
• Create layouts for manufacturing to ensure continuous flow and efficiency.
