Evaluation of the whole production process in search of improvement opportunities; Collection of production data (such as produced quantities of each product); Calculation of the quantities of each product to be produced; 5S Tools
I developed tasks such as the evaluation of the poultry slaughter process to improve its efficiency. I did so by gathering process data in spreadsheets with information about the production process, such as quantities produced of each product, loading and unloading times for cargo trucks, and machinery downtimes, and others. By acquiring knowledge about the planning and production control activities, productivity, and industrial management, I also developed a chrono analysis (time measuring for each activity) in order to efficiently allocate the work force within the plant. I also carried out tests for the industrial yielding calculation (for chicken cuts, giblets, carcasses) as well as developing activities for continuous process improvements (PDCA, production process flux and small improvements such as Kaizen), all the while implementing the 5S in the sector.--
