Assigned to on-board the blue-chip publicly traded company Engro Eximp from Pakistan, seeking to build a footprint in the Middle East, with prior on-boarding attempts failing due to credit facility structure problems Stimulated open dialogue, understanding client needs and transaction structure, facilitating representatives from financial institutions, credit, operations, corporate banking, legal and trade advisory, to structure a transaction and on-board customer, to route business totalling $150M USD. Tasked with finding a solution to finance a medium sized UAE-based entity, owned by a high net worth existing client with multiple owned properties in the UAE, after the Bank detected concerns with the UAE corporate balance sheets. Steered towards an asset backed lending solution, researching and drafting a report on the UAE real estate market, to enable a structure for the Bank’s first real estate backed transaction in the emerging corporate sector.
